The Mono-Coil Tubes / Hoses are made of a loosely wound stainless steel tape. These tubes provide excellent mechanical protection and flexibility. It's small size makes them an ideal solution for protecting optical fibers from lateral pressures or for bundeling multiple loose fibers. The Mono-Coil Tubes are covered with a stainless steel braiding.

Medical Grade Mono Coils
The Mono-Coil Tubes with braining can also be made available with medical grade sheathing in various materials such as PUR or Silicon. This tubes have been specifically designed to fulfill the high tech requirements for endoscopy.
The sheathing material used on the medical grade tubes, depending on the material used, can meet the requirements for food grade, American Pharmacopeia (USP Class VI) or DIN EN ISO 10993.
In addition, depending on the material used, the tube can withstand different sterilization methods.
